I am a stay at home mom and I LOVE it beyond words. This life I'm living is the best! I was able to graduate from college with a Bachelors Degree right before Marty and I got married, and then work for a few years before starting our family. I will always make my family my first priority. I know I'll be able to focus more on other things later, but this time I have with these little kids will be gone before I know it and I want to stop and enjoy it. Not just for me, but so I can help them become the people they are capable of becoming. I like to read, I love to help other people when I can, I try to almost always cook dinner at home, and I make an effort to give my full attention to what is going on in my life. Life can definitely be crazy and busy, and it goes by so fast sometimes, but I try to enjoy what's going on. I try to stay in touch with family and friends, and having a blog has made that so much easier. I print a book at the end of the year with everything from my blog and those books are such treasures to me. There is always something to learn in life, and it's definitely not always easy, but I think we're all just doing the best we can. Really, we're all in it together, so we need to make our life the best we can!
I grew up in Las Vegas with 3 older brothers. I have 5 nieces and 5 nephews. Although my parents aren't married, I have a great relationship with both of them. My mom is still in Las Vegas (where we love to visit!) and my dad lives in a small town about 1 1/2 hours from us, so we are able to see him often.
